Individual Therapy

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. You just have to be willing to take an honest look at what’s going on.

What is individual therapy?
Individual therapy is a one on one space to explore what you’re experiencing with support, structure, and intention. Using CBT and DBT, we focus on understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and how certain patterns may be keeping you stuck. This work is both reflective and practical, helping you make sense of your inner world while also building tools to navigate daily life more effectively.

What does a session look like?
Sessions are a balance of exploration and skill building. We’ll start by getting clear on what’s coming up for you whether that’s a recent situation, an ongoing pattern, or something that feels harder to name. From there, we’ll slow things down and look at what’s happening beneath the surface.

At the same time, you’ll learn and practice skills drawn from CBT and DBT. This might include identifying unhelpful thought patterns, managing intense emotions, improving communication, or responding differently in moments that typically feel overwhelming. The goal is not just insight, but real life application.

Who is this for?
This work is for anyone who feels stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, struggles with anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional intensity, or wants more clarity and control in how they respond to life.

It’s especially helpful if you’re looking for therapy that is both thoughtful and practical where you can explore your experiences while also learning tools that make a difference outside of sessions.

Session details
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and are scheduled weekly or as needed. We’ll work together to find a pace that feels supportive and sustainable. This is a collaborative process, grounded in honesty, respect, and a shared commitment to your growth.
